I am a certified HUD Housing Counselor and I provide education and counseling on a wide variety of housing issues with a specialty in default/delinquency, foreclosure and loss mitigation/workout options. I possess a broad knowledge of mortgage servicing practices, default processes, foreclosure procedures and timeframes and workout options available with lenders to help borrowers keep their homes as well as qualifying guidelines for those options. In today's mortgage and housing market crisis, mortgage lenders & servicers are constantly working on new and innovative workout programs that can benefit borrowers desperate to save their homes from foreclosure or simply liquidate the property and avoid a public auction. I have worked within many capacities in the mortgage and banking fields for over 7 years and have gained an inside knowledge of the policies and procedures of mortgage companies, loan servicers, private mortgage insurers and varying loan types/investors in respect to how your loan is handled and what options may or may not be available to you in particular.
