I have been a mother for over 8 years with 5 of those years being devoted to a boy with autism. I have seen the doctors, cried many nights, felt guilty, why me, tried to get my son to stop with all his ticks; biting, hitting, screaming, etc. I am willing to spend any amount of time talking with you on a human level and not doctor-mother with words you don't understand because I wish I would have had somebody to talk to when I felt so alone.
