I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Psychology as well as Elementary Education certification. After teaching for a few years I returned to school to earn my Master's Degree in Education specializing in learning disabilities.

My expertise is working with and teaching elementary age children. I specialize in giving assistance with reading, phonics, writing, editing, and grammar as well as helping with elementary math and science concepts. My education and experience in working with children with disabilities enables me to develop a program or simply answer questions you may have in any of these areas.

Experience & Qualifications

I have taught grades 1-6 and have been a program director in a resource room with children who have learning problems. I have taken several courses in working with talented and gifted children and believe in incorporating a variety of techniques and approaches to instruction to strengthen their areas of weakness and utilize areas of expertise. I am also able to give tips on test-taking and work with children to review basic skills for achiement tests. I worked as an adjunct professor teaching elementary education courses for three years as well.
