Three years as Program Coordinator of a grant-funded higher education program which developed or strengthened life management skills of traditional and non-traditional community college students. Program prepared two-year community college students for transition to an intense professional Doctor of Pharmacy degreee program. I provided one-on-one and group academic, career, personal and financial aid counseling. One year as a Student Services Professional (Coordinator, Specialist, Manager) in a totally online/virtual university environment. In this position, I provide academic and career advising, answer general financial aid queries, assist with instructor/classroom issues, provide retention intiatives (help students stay in school). I also manage a team of 8 Student Services professionals. I also offer one year of experience as a Senior Financial Aid Officer. In that position, I provided financial aid/debt management counseling to medical students.
