I am currently Product Manager at an engineering & trading venture and am responsible for the Product Portfolio Management, Application Engineering & Operation Excellence of the Electro-Mechanical Division in one of a Strategic Business Unit. Prior to this current role, I was Head of Business Segment for a German Multinational Pumps Company. In that role, I was responsible for the Product Management, Sales and P&L of the company's Building Services Segment for the country. Multinational training & trading exposure and well versed in multi-cultural work environment. 1. Research and analysis of business opportunities, consistent with the organization's long range and strategic plans. 2. Evaluating prospects through financial feasibility studies, market research, and planning. 3. Guiding marketing & sales and leading technical teams to grow profitable revenue for the company. Participating in development of marketing, business and sales plans, strategy implementation, and overseeing and controlling bid costs for pursuits. 4. Lead and manage the internal approval process. Product Portfolio P&L responsibility for business division electro mechanical which includes centrifugal pumps, diesel generators, diesel engines, control valves, outdoor cooling units & fog systems compressors & PD pumps parts & service operations. Leading, controlling and motivating the pre-sales, sales and after sales operational teams in the KSA, Qatar & UAE ensuring budgeted sales, gross margins, and net contribution for products and Service. 5. Developing and implementing the company sales and marketing strategies, objectives, plans and budgets. Monitor sales performance (volume and margin) and implement corrective action where necessary. Developing organization by designing structures, SOPs, selecting, developing and rewarding staff to generate pleasant and productive workplaces and meet future requirement. 6. Training, development and supporting alternate sales channels. Developing & implementing product pricing & positioning strategies for new products. 7. Advising supply chain division in, sourcing, new vendors’ development, import matters, inventory management & materials planning.
