there are 3 major parts of interior of the earth,crust mantle and core.Geology is also the study of rocks,their composition and different typer of rocks.There are 2 types of rocks, clastic rocks and nonclastic rocks.With the help of geological methods we can explore the minerals of economic importance.with the help of geology we can study the actions which have been occured in past and also about that ones occuring in present, i.e continental drift, sea floor spreading and etc.
