My Expert Service
|
|
I am Nanette Cheval, CCHt., a Certified Counseling Clinical Hypnotherapist, Transpersonal Psychotherapist, Certified Grief Recovery Specialist, and 3rd level Reiki Practitioner.
My mission is to be a personal guide on an amazing journey that can lead to the achievement of goals and manifestation of dreams. Most of the time we feel like we walk along without guidance. By utilizing the tools and techniques of Hypnotherapy, NLP, Grief Recovery Work, and Reiki, it is possible to tap into the amazing energy and potential that always exists within and around us. This journey leads to the facilitation of change that supports our life goals and can make possible the positive life we envision our reality.
When we learn to tap into our true nature filled with remarkable power and potential; accept the innate gifts of love, joy, peace, happiness and healing; and truly honor the beauty in ourselves and others; we achieve a positive state of existence that changes our world and the world around us. I believe the world does change one person at a time! I offer individual and group sessions, workshops, telephone sessions and I am available for public speaking engagements.

Experience & Qualifications
|
As a Certified Counseling Clinical Hypnotherapist, Transpersonal Psychotherapist, Grief Recovery Specialist, and Reiki Practitioner, Nanette Cheval CCHt considers herself to be a midwife of consciousness, teaching others to heal their lives by finding, bringing to life, and living their truth. She bases much of her work on teaching others the art of self-empowerment and the discovery of the amazing potential that exists within every human being.
Nanette received her degree and the credentials as a CCHt (Certified Counseling Clinical Hypnotherapist) and Medical Hypnotherapist in Transpersonal Hypnotherapy, Whole Health Hypnotherapy and Medical Hypnotherapy from the Colorado School of Counseling Hypnotherapy and the American Transpersonal Psychology and Hypnotherapy Association (ATPH), with over 400 hours of course work and intensive training, the highest level of hypnotherapy training available.
She is certified through the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners (cert. # 604-323) and the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association (cert. # 0704-090161). Nanette is a Grief Recovery Specialist, receiving her certification through The Grief Recovery® Institute. She has extensive hospice training and years of experience in the field. She received extensive training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming through NLP Comprehensive. Nanette received the honor of becoming a Reiki Practitioner in the Usui Shiki Ryo Ho Reiki Tradition, and utilizes the techniques to aid others in healing and improving the quality of their lives. Using an eclectic approach in her work, Nanette is able to address issues relating to the complete human being -- body, mind, spirit, and emotion.
Nanette is the mother of three. Her family also includes 3 horses. She is a true believer in the use of horses as an instrument of healing, and for the development of mental, spiritual and physical health. She is currently working towards her instructor certification in equine therapeutic riding and equine assisted psychotherapy through the North American Riding for the Handicap Association (NARHA) and the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA.) She has been an avid volunteer for programs such as the National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD) and the Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center (CTRC) working with children, teenagers and adults struggling with various disabilities using horses as part of the therapeutic process.
Nanette also has a strong business and marketing background. Before beginning a career in the healing arts, she spent years in the corporate world as a successful business owner. She has also spent countless volunteer hours in serving various nonprofit and charitable organizations. She chose a new career in the healing arts after experiencing a series of painful losses. During these difficult times, she was led to participate in the grief and healing work that she offers today, and experienced first-hand the amazing transformation that occurred in her life. Through her first-hand experiences, and being a witness to the growth and healing of others, she is passionate about the work she offers.
Nanette believes there is a tremendous amount of potential in every human being, and there are countless possibilities that exist for those who learn to tap into and utilize their own personal power and potential.
