I am a Doctor, Psychiatrist. I have 8 years of experience in the field of Psychiatry. I conduct individual, couple and family therapies. I have expertise in behaviour, cognitive and cognitive behaviour therapies, including grief resolution. I also deal with relationship issues, personality issues and sexual issues. My 8 years of experience in various hospitals and different working conditions have just enriched me with vast varied experience in this field. I deal with children, adolescents, adults and old age people. I have expert knowledge in various sub specialties of Psychiatry which are Psychotic disorders -Schizophrenia, Mood disorders- bipolar disorders, depressive disorders, Anxiety disorders, Somatoform disorders, Addiction, Sexual disorders, Sleep disorders, Old age psychiatry, Child and Adolescent psychiatric disorders-ADHD and various others. Having worked in India and a brief stint in United Kingdom (UK), I have the ability to understand the other parties perspective and cater to their individual needs in the best way.

Experience & Qualifications

After the completion of my under graduation, MBBS. I did DPM (Diploma in Psychiatry) from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), India, the premier institute for mental health and neurosciences for the South East Asia. I did DNB-Psychiatry (Diplomate National Board –Psychiatry) from a hospital affiliated to the National Board of Examinations (NBE), New-Delhi. In this examination, the pass percentage is just between 5% to 15% only. Later I did a course in Medical Law and Ethics, the PGDMLE (Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Law and Ethics) from the premier law institute of India, the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru, India. Currently working in a general hospital attached to the oldest medical college of the state of Karnataka, India. I take classes for the medical students and I have experience in consultation liaison psychiatry as well. I have experience in all the sub specialties of Psychiatry. And having worked in the premier institutes of India and South East Asia, it just adds up to the immense experience and expertise in the field of Psychiatry.
