One of the things I have found most gratifying about my profession is being able to empower my patients and clients to take a more active and informed role in their own health, and to help families to be better advocates for their loved one. Sadly, on an everyday basis, most nurses, including myself, are too tied up with urgent tasks and emergencies to spend time listening and communicating. I'd be honored to give you my full

I have worked in acute-care hospitals, rehabilitation centers, long-term care, outpatient and urgent care settings, and home care. The specific specialties I worked in include: general medicine and surgery, neurology/neurosurgery, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, corrections, subacute care and rehabilitation, home care, hospice care, and Alzheimer's care.
