Experience & Qualifications
|
Roughly half a year ago i graduated and received my MBO (upper secondary vocational education) ICT Diploma. As part of the education i had a 6 month internship at a company called R@STO with whom we maintained an estimate of 50 networks at primary schools. During the education and the internship i learned how to setup Windows based servers, build networks with Cisco equipment, and got selected with 3 others to start-up an Internet Café / Computer Skills Courses for the local lower-educated immigrants, which as we speak, is still active and running.
Setting up TrippleWin / HTIB Internet Café.
This is a project sponsored by several school 'agencies', local community groups and my former internship company which is meant to familiarize the local ethnic minorities and lower schooled with the use of computers. Together with 4 others (under guidance of the internship company) I was selected to set the project up and manage it. My participation in this was;
• Advertisement; readings at local clubs. • I wrote several courses on Emailing, Word, Media, and the Internet. • Designed a informative leaflet for distribution in the neighborhood. • Presented, instructed and mentored the courses. • Enrolled in a course for Communication with low-schooled immigrants.
