Currently I work as a staff nurse on the oncology unit at a hospital in the Chicago area. I have 13 years experience in nursing at the bedside, most of that time with oncology patients. I have also worked in hospice in admissions, on-call, triage and patient visits.

As I mentioned previously, I have 13 years of bedside nursing experience, mostly with oncology patients. I have worked as a hospice nurse for six of those years and continue to work with hospice patients at the hospital where I am employed.
I can address any concerns of patients and/or families with regard to hospice admission, treatment--ESPECIALLY PAIN CONTROL--(DNR) Do not resuscitate orders, Power of Attorney for Health Care forms, etc. I can also provide support to families who have questions regarding hospice care.
