I am Software Professional from Mexico, fluent in English and Spanish, as my this is my native Language.
I have 14 years experience as a System Design, Development, Implementation and maintenance of Computer Systems.
My first exposure to software development was using COBOL and then I learned Foxpro and used it to implement applications to communicate and export data from COBOL, and finally I design a system to migrate the COBOL data into a Visual Foxpro 5.0 System.
My Foxpro/ Visual Foxpro experience gave me the opportunity to work in Ireland where I wrote software for Calibration of Equipment in the pharmaceutical sector which is pretty strict as they follow the regulations stated from FDA and ISO 9000, so on top of the being a good programmer I had to incorporate Software Quality Standards in my developing experience.
I have 5 years working in Ireland and got the opportunity to work for a good well known Blue Chip international companies and I am keeping my knowledge updated as I had the opportunity to attend several courses in the new versions of FoxPro and also Java, HTML, Web Design, Visual .Net and SQL Server Administration and Programming.
I have very good experience in databases: relationships, queries, indexing, design of DB as well in Visual Foxpro coding.
