I have been using Cobol to maintenance Mincom Ellipse for 2 years, here is my job description :
• Work with key client business and IT users to define requirements and design integration solutions and/or develop software to meet customer needs.
• Undertake the design and build of the application integration components using the appropriate technology stack. This will include ensuring all designs are compliant with the client's development standards.
• Test the application and the system throughout the project lifecycle including unit testing, integration and technical testing. Fix a variety of issues including but not limited to functional, integration and performance issues.
• Provide the required documentation set, across the development lifecycle.
• Ensure the products & integration components work together to meet the objectives & performance goals as defined in the requirements.
• Identify and discuss potential problems with clients and recommend solutions in a timely fashion.
• Liaise with customers and project team members to calibrate expectations and delivery of solutions.
• Manage the end to end development and deployment lifecycle to deliver smaller projects on time and to budget.
• For larger projects, design, develop, test and deploy project components (deliverables) in accordance with the project plan and as coordinated with the Project Manager.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

Experience & Qualifications
|
- 2 years experience.
- Using Pro*COBOL: Release 9.2.0.8.0.
- CICS.
- Tools : Ultraedit,TOAD, Putty, Cobol.
- Familiar with Ellipse Mincom 5.*.* and 6.*.* version.
- Connector Mincom.
- Familiar in ERP/EAM areas.
