I've spent 7 years as a dog trainer and pet sitter, 3 years as a professional dog and cat groomer, and 1 year as a dog day care supervisor. I have cared for pets all my life as a loving pet parent, and began my professional career by volunteering at a local animal shelter. My pet knowledge has been increased with extensive book studies and hands on training in pet grooming, dog training, and basic animal care. I also have Pet First Aid and CPR Certifications. I currently am a freelance dog trainer and pet sitter which I have been doing for 7 years. I worked as a professional pet groomer for 3 years with a holistic mobile grooming company. I was a supervisor at a dog day care for about 1 year and volunteer at a local animal shelter regularly. My entire life I have been an avid animal lover. My childhood pets included a German Shepherd mix and a Golden Retriever. My current pets are a Siberian Husky, Blue Heeler mix, and a snowshoe Siamese cat. I have worked with dogs and cats of all different sizes and temperaments. My training and experience is vast and comprehensive.
