• Turned around restaurant chain in Scottsdale, AZ (Jilly’s) in four months with daily cash management plan and budget with variance analysis. Implemented recommendations for change. Company did not have to file bankruptcy.
• Exceeded profit projections by $200,000 at Activator Methods in Phoenix, AZ through the daily control of cash and the development of an operating budget.
• Produced a break-even position for the first time for solar engineering and sales businesses (ETA Engineering and Dependable Solar Power) in Mesa, AZ by the use of monthly financial statement analysis of variances from last year and daily cash management.
CHANGES IN BUSINESS SYSTEMS
• Tripled size of $4,000,000 marble processing client trough development of key indicator measurement system, creation of standard cost system, selection and installation of MAS 90 software, and design and implementation of customer satisfaction system.
• Saved $3,500.000 business (Accessories Unlimited) by re-engineering business. Company was elevated to New Mexico’s first Ford Motor Company Q1 Distributor. This is the same as receiving ISO 9000 status. Company also received World Class recognition from Ford.
• Saved $500,000 at Harper Wyman Company. Revamped employee pay from a piece work system to a flat hourly pay/bonus system that produced increased quality and productivity.

• Create and implement product-costing system for pharmaceutical manufacturer. Developed and integrated activity cost drivers into the process using knowledge of FDA GMP (ISO9000), discussion with all the managers, many different Excel spreadsheets and analysis. Wrote user manual.
• Create business and quality structures, performance measures, quality tools, and training that allowed Accessories Unlimited to become the 1st and only Ford Motor Company Q1 distributor (world-class level) in New Mexico. • Led shop-floor team that converted the 40-year-old piecework incentive pay system to a flat hourly rate structure. This improved labor efficiency and reduced administrative processing costs $200,000 in the first year.
