With a wealth of experience in nearly every aspect of the construction and design industries, you can trust that I am qualified to assist with sound advice for any of your interior architectural questions. In addition, my strong backgrounds in both lighting design and sustainable design, combined with recognition from the National Council for Interior Design Certification (NCIDQ), have aided in the development of several award winning projects. Since becoming an independent designer in 2002, I have applied my vast range of experience and expertise in all phases of interior design including: residential, corporate, small medical, retail, public, and hospitality, and extended care facilities to create environments that are both uniquely definable, memorable, and sustainable. Best use of materials, economies of scale and energy efficiently are also among the many consideration of what I consider good design. From programming consultation and concept development to complete project management, the ability to communicate effectively with the numerous disciplines related to a project’s completion have enabled my clients to receive the most cohesive and efficient result possible.

Experience & Qualifications

I began my career with one of the countries most respected retail and high-end residential design firms, and then expanded my corporate and facilities experience with a top commercial firm, before venturing out on my own. In addition to countless residential projects, my work experience has encompassed projects such as The Pacers Fieldhouse Suites, Indiana Repertory Theater Lobby Renovation, Arni’s Restaurant, Cinergy– PSI Facilities (now Duke Energy), the Crawfordsville Municipal Airport, Los Padres Flagship Bank, HOMExperience retail store, and the International Banquet Hall and Catering Kitchen at Junior Achievement of Central Indiana.
Named the 2006 Young Professional of the Year by the Young Professionals of Central Indiana, my art related articles have been published in Carmel Magazine, Indianapolis Star Business, and The Guild’s Artful Home. In addition to being a frequent speaker at Indiana University, I have served as an associate faculty instructor with the Indiana University-Purdue University & Ball State University Interior Design Programs and am currently also an on-line facilitator with The Art Institute On-line.
