I am able to give assistance in most aspects of Tropical Physical Geography, otherwise known as Geomorphology including Coral Reefs. I am also able to assist those who have reading and writing challenges, I am able to show and teach people how to write more fluently and in different styles, such as the more formal third person style such as that in science writing, to the more fluid personal style of a journal, as well as the formal style for job applications.

Experience & Qualifications

The majority of my teaching time was spent teaching students with learning difficulties consequently I needed to find a way to teach English to students with low literacy levels. I loved the challenge and so did the students, they surprised themselves beautifully.
I have since provided extra tutoring to external students and adults to assist in their literacy. I currently work for a government department where the majority of my day is spent creating and responding to government documentation.
As a part of my research for my Grad Dip Agroforestry I have presented field displays to a varied audience, with diverse backgrounds of educational or agroforestry experience. My displays needed to capture the interest of all the members of the audience and effectively explain the nature of the research in the forefront of establishing Khaya senegalensis in Tropical North Queensland.
Due to having established several gardens all on challenging soils I have developed a keen interest in growing Australian Natives and other hardy plants in the challenging environmental extremes of the Dry Tropics of Australia
