I have been in the web industry for over a decade and have had the privilege to work for a number of prospective web companies in that time. Some of the companies that I've worked for are Junk My Car, Accenture, and TribeBuyer.com. I began my career on an IT background, so I also have a firm grasp of server propagation & maintenance for both Windows Server & Unix. I am an expert with PHP/MySQL, and proficient with application development & management utilizing an MVC framework. I currently work as a web project manager for LyntonWeb (web development company).

I'm a web developer by trade and an entrepreneur at heart. Creating innovative UX and integrating functional web technologies on the foundation of business principals have been the focal points of my workflow. I am an advocate of web 2.0 (HTML5, CSS3, & jQuery), and I have a keen eye for contemporary design. Although my bread and butter has always been the design and coding portion of web development, I've learned many other supporting components in order to have a clear understanding of the full development process. Below are some of the technical web components that I am fluent in and use on a regular basis:
- PHP MVC Frameworks & MySQL (Codeigniter, ExpressionEngine)
- eCommerce integration for small to medium sized businesses (I've specialized in eCommerce for 8+ years, ability to work with various shopping cart systems, or create a custom cart depending on application)
- SEO implementation & analysis, both organic & PPC campaigns (Link optimization, Strategic keyword placement, Content optimization, Backlinking)
- Graphics design (vector imaging, website mockups, printing standards, logo design)
- Mobile Web Interface Design (using textures, vector graphics, gradients, and thin fonts for small screen optimization)
- UX & UI Design (Styling, Interactive Content, Efficient End-User Workflows, mobile devices)
- Virtual call center administration and integration (including setup of PBX + CTI; Asterisk)
- Salesforce Integration and administration (VisualForce programming, Dashboard/Report Manipulation, SF Logic)
- Web server propagation, administration, and analyzing security vulnerabilities. I am very capable of using many flavors of *nix and MS Win. I prefer CentOS for live environment web servers.
In addition to my expertise in the technical aspects of the web industry, I also excel in business management and logistics. As a prior business owner, I've had extensive hands-on experience in creating backend workflow efficiency as well as maintaining front end customer relations. I understand that a balance in both aspects is vital in achieving long term success.
I am also a former U.S. Marine, and served in 3d Infantry Battalion, 2d Marines as a Corporal. I've served overseas in the Mediterranean & Middle East, along with Haiti during Operation Unified Response.
