If you're raising a puppy or wondering how to curb an adult dog's problem behavior, I can offer useful, humane advice and instruction.

Experience & Qualifications

As a public and private dog obedience instructor, I spent years handling dogs of all and mixed breeds. I believe in a humane and humorous approach to dog training and have enjoyed tremendous success over the past fifteen years. Positive reinforcement and consistency are the cornerstones of my approach. I worked for seven years as the trainer for a humane society, and spent many years as a consultant/trainer in individual cases. I was also the consultant/evaluator/troubleshooter for a service dog organization that placed dogs with handicapped persons. Additionally, I had a kennel where I raised and trained my own German Shepherds for obedience and showring performance. The dogs I have handled over the years totals in the thousands and I think I have seen just about everything :-).
