I started as a lecturer in mathematics in Andhra University, Waltair, India from 1956-1993. I became a reader in 1969, the a full time professor from 1984 to 1993. All these posts, I held in Andhra University.From 1980-84, I served as a professor at Algerian University, Algeria.I was granted lien on my post for this period. During my tenure as a teacher. I taught all most all subjects in Applied Mathematics. I specialised in Fluid Mechanics. I guided 8 research students for Ph. D in Andhra University.I specialised in Magnetohydrodynamics. I guided research in this area and Rotating fluids for several years and published 44 research articles in international journals.
I served for about 37 years in India.
I returned to U.S in 1995. Here I served in many community colleges in Arizona and California.I had an interaction with students in Mathematics subjects. In 2000, I joined San Jose State University as a professor, a position which was held for 7 years. Then I retired.
So, I had more than 50 years of experience in teaching and research.I wrote also books on continuum mechanics and Numerical Analysis and special functions.
