Experience & Qualifications
|
My clinical experience has been extensive. I have practiced in many settings including day care, preschool and school settings. In addition, I have training and clinical experience in out-patient clinic, hospital and other institutional settings.
Experience includes: providing diagnostic evaluations and presenting clinical information to families, and other professionals, providing therapeutic services, designing and implementing intervention programs for children with a variety of speech-language delays and/or disorders. I also have extensive experience in coaching parents and families of children with communication delays and disorders.
Expertise in the areas of: autism, down syndrome, cognitive disabilities, sensory integration dysfunction pertaining to speech-language development, swallowing dysfunction and feeding/nutritional issues in infants and children, auditory processing disorder, bilingual and multi-lingual language learning, twin language and communication, multi-cultural family backgrounds, cleft palate, voice and nasality issues in young children.
