Members of the Project Frequency team have thousands of hours of training and experience in all areas of the music industry. From record deals to marketing, promotion, touring, merchandising, management, budgeting; we are looking to help you get your project where you want it to be!
Our consultation service is targeted primarily at artists and bands, however we’re more than happy to give advice and guidance to anyone looking to start labels, get into booking, promotion, you name it.
We specialize in giving bands and artists personalized and detailed reports. These reports can be general, and include market-positioning, ideas for growing your fan base, merchandising opportunities, touring strategies etc.
Reports can also be focused on a specific topic or topics. Common topics of interest include:
Searching for a record label,
Deciphering record deals band contracts etc.,
Touring and how to do it effectively,
Promotion and marketing campaigns,
Publishing and Songwriting,
Royalties and how to know if you’re getting ripped off,
Self Releases.
These are just a few examples of literally hundreds of potential topic. There’s nothing we aren’t willing to help you on, just ask!
As previously stated every report or response is 100% personalized to the inquirer. We have no blanket template, all the information you receive from us is exactly what you’re looking to find out; no fluff here.
Easy cut and dry questions are welcome as well! Since we charge by the word, its likely smaller questions will cost less than a dollar.
In order to get the response you’re looking for, we need to know as much as we can about you, your band, and what you’re looking to know. Specific information that’s always important includes:
Band Name
Style
Link to music (MySpace, etc)
How long has your band been around?
Toured? Done shows?
Where are you looking to take your band ideally? (Mainstream success? Independent/niche audience? Festival circuit? Regional Favorite? Etc.)
On a label? Have a booking agent? Manager? Lawyer?
How big is your fan base?
What’s your budget?
This is just a sample of some of the things we would like to know. Anything at all you feel might be relevant probably is, and is worth mentioning. The better understanding we have of your project, the more we can help it grow and prosper.
(Note: we accept email only, not live chat. Due to the nature of the subject matter time is needed to analyze your project, questions, and find the appropriate answers. This makes live chat not conducive)
