I have been working with infants, toddlers and preschoolers since 1993. I worked for 5 years in a Montessori preschool and kindergarden. For a short time I had a daycare in my home. I worked for 1 year in the infant room of a daycare and 1 year in the preschool (3 year olds)classroom. For 3 years I was a director for a summer camp for children ages 3-6.If you are training to be a Montessori teacher I can help you with essay questions or lesson plan ideas. I can help you with your CDA resource file or statements of competencies. I can also help you with the CDA observation and test. If you have a preschool child and you would like advice on choosing a nursery school I can tell you the pros and cons of each setting. (Montessori school, daycare, nursery school, nanny, in-home daycare) I can also help parents to assess their current child care and see if it is meeting your child's needs and is developmentally appropriate. If you need advice for parent/teacher conferences I can help you think of questions that will allow you to see how you child is doing in the class.

I started babysitting at age 16 and have continued my work with children ever since. I have been a nanny, a preschool teacher, a children's librarian assistant. I am a Montessori teacher and I am continuing my education with the Montessori Centre International and training to become a Montessori lecturer. I will help them with their distance learning students.
