My Expert Service

Owner of MG Sandbox...An Entertainment Think Tank. I have experience in Festival Production, Concert Production, Theatre Production, Special Events Management, Political Conferences & Events, Sports production, Theatrical consulting, Site Logistics, Gala's, & Awards Shows/Event. Branding, PR, & Media for select clients is just a few of the services that I offer.

Experience & Qualifications

With over 20 years “behind the scenes” experience in the entertainment industry (theatrical, sports, publicity / media, special events, political, festival, television, film, concert, and recording studio arenas, to name a few) I have managed to forge a great career in event production, creative consulting and theatrical management. Being an intense multi-tasker with precise attention to detail are just two of the many qualities that make me an asset to any organization, event or team. Organizations such as DC Committee to Promote Washington, The Smithsonian, The Kennedy Center, NFL / Fox & CBS Television, BET, The Congressional Black Caucus Spouses, The Greater Washington Urban League, Capital Jazz Productions, Dimensions Entertainment, and Radio One have employed my services; memberships include NARAS, IAAM, and The Women’s Democratic Club; and I have served on Congresswoman Norton's - DC Congressional Youth Arts Competition, as a Mentor with the CAPE League and as a Court Supervisor for Hoop Dreams. Continuing in a diverse, ever changing, constantly growing industry, my mission to reach beyond the high benchmarks; to bring my wealth of knowledge to a project or team; and to maintain the necessary focus on the ultimate task at hand is primary. In my spare time I serve as moderator/guest speaker on music industry & youth panels (including CMJ Conf & Can a Sista Roc a Mic), as well as being a mentor. I enjoy writing, attending sporting/social events, supporting local/national recording artists, and the youth. ------- Consultant / Contractor ; Event Support / PR / Strategist January 2007 to present ------ The John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts - Washington, D.C.
