Key Qualifications:
I acquired Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in 1999 from a prestigious Government Medical College from India, which is recognized by World Health Organization. I have 8 years of clinical medicine experience in internal medicine, pediatrics, general surgery and obstetrics’ & gynecology, including two years in a limited resource setting, at the referral hospital of Lesotho.
While working in these departments at national and international level, I acquired expertise in, diagnosis and treatment of wide range of communicable and non-communicable diseases. I am proficient in management of various types of clinics which includes Dermatology, STI, Leprosy, Tuberculosis, Hypertension, Diabetes, Occupational Health, Pediatrics and HIV/AIDS clinic. I am well versed with multidisciplinary approach of family-centered model of HIV/AIDS care. I am familiar with ART initiation (Adults & Pediatrics), PMTCT and PEP policy guidelines at both national and international level. I have independently performed various surgical procedures such as caesarean section, Salpingectomy, Tubal-ligation, Evacuations, Insertion of chest tube drainage, Circumcision, Incision and drainage. I got experience of maternal and child health, reproductive health while working in Queen Elizabeth-II Hospital, Lesotho.
In past 8 years I have closely follow-up and monitor various health programme’s. I have closely monitored various health indicators such as Infant Mortality Rate, Malnutrition rate and Immunization coverage. I have prepared various reports such as police-injury report, rape victim’s examination report, criminal abortion report, mortality reports and submitted to relevant authorities. I taught under-graduate medical student and trained many interns, nurses, nursing assistants to handle the critically ill patients of various age groups. I always emphasized on communication, cooperation and positive outlook. I have advised them to be resourceful, sharpen the skill perennially and be able to adapt in a resource deprived environment. Presently I am working with expatriate team of mixed professional and cultural backgrounds.

INDOOR PATIENT MANAGEMENT
Management of patients in allocated ward. Initiating the clinical management & review of the treatment initiated by interns/casualty medical officer. Inform consultant on clinical decision made only if necessary; liaise with them in patient’s referrals. To perform necessary investigations and procedure required for indoor patient management. Prepare reports for submission to relevant authorities.
OUT-PATIENT MANAGEMENT
Management of following clinics- Pediatrics, Hypertension, Diabetes, General Medicine, Obstetrics’ & Gynecology, LIKOTSI and LDF Clinic. Review and diagnosis of the out-patients. Initiate appropriate clinical management according to the guidelines and available protocols. If necessary carry out necessary investigations to reach the diagnosis and/or admitting the patient in ward for further
