Americhip, Inc. Torrance, CA
Sr. Graphic Designer 1/05 – 7/05
I designed interactive paper mechanisms, popups
and 3D paper projects with a team of awardwinning
paper engineers. Technologies used
include voice and LED chips and conductive inks.
At Americhip, we work with emerging technologies
to find unique and clever applications for
print, packaging, POP and publishing. Accounts
include HBO, Disney, Gallo, Toyota and Nintendo.

Director of Creative Services 8/03 – 1/05
I directed two design offices (Los Angeles and
Shanghai) that include designers, technical writers,
illustrators, photographers and programmers as
well as a network of freelance talent. Most
projects were printed off-shore (China, Taiwan,
Korea and Mexico) requiring frequent travel. We
designed the company’s branding and packaging
for 8 product lines with over 400 products
including power tools, lawn and garden, storage
systems, lighting, strollers, scooters, ATVs and dirt
bikes. I played a key roll in new and ongoing
projects in web, marketing and business development.
Responsible for multilingual technical
materials (English, Canadian French, Mandarin
and Spanish). Developed plan-o-grams, displays,
product labeling and private-label packaging for
Husky, Hemi, Jeep, Coleman, PepBoys, Target,

GameSpy.com is a leading online entertainment
site that delivers live multiplayer gaming and
editorial content to gamers worldwide. There I
assumed management of the Creative Services
staff. I identify all ongoing design projects and
ensured that they were tracked in our creative
request system. I managed and mentored
designers (both on and off-site) in developing,
designing and supporting over 100 web sites. We
created everything from simple buttons and ad
products to complex flash presentations and
complete site redesigns. My duties included
creating and fine-tuning the GameSpy brand in
collateral, establishing budgets and timelines,
working with marketing and advertising departments
for client pitches and hiring talent. I was
called upon to assist in strategy meetings,
employee performance reviews, trade show
management and vendor sourcing.
Answerthink Consulting, Torrance, CA
A.D. / Sr. Interface Designer 8/01 - 6/02
Answerthink’s capabilities include benchmarking,
business transformation, technology integration,
application maintenance and support. We
pioneered behavioral targeting techniques that
make digital solutions smarter and easier to
measure. My department was responsible for
providing ad agency-quality marketing ideas and
account services. There I developed and designed
sites for national accounts including: Neutrogena,
BlueCross of California, IBM, Budweiser,
InteliTouch, eRealtor.com and Isuzu Motors (which
won several J.D Power and Gomez awards). Main
responsibilities were web interface navigation and
design, optimizing web graphics, storyboard and
animate Flash segments, create ad banners, spot
art, interface skins and viral marketing elements,
direct and develop QTVR.
