Robert Ancill is the CEO of The Next Idea.
The Next Idea is a unique restaurant innovations agency. We change restaurant brands - reinventing existing ones and creating new ones from scratch. The Next Idea is all about using new ideas and technologies to challenge the ways that brands are formed. We are an intimate team of 8 people, able to handle projects from the smallest to the largest scale, with the client's best interest in the foremost of our thinking. We are anti-formulaic, anti-nonsense, ready to think the unthinkable, pro-energy and above all - pro-results.

Robert’s career spans over 22 years in the Restaurant & Leisure Industry, with a solid background in restaurant / cafe operations & finance, concept & brand development, launching new businesses, and managing change.
Robert has managed over 100 restaurant / café openings and the launching of 12 new concepts in the UK, Israel & the US.
Prior to embarking on The Next Idea Robert held the following positions:
