Dr. Davis is a Graduate of Howard University College of Medicine in Washington DC. He completed a residency in General Surgery and a Fellowship in Transplant Surgery at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. He is Board Certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care and has held associate director and director positions at major teaching Hospitals including his present position as Director of Trauma and Surgical Critical Care at St. Barnabas Hospital, Bronx. In 1994 he established New Directions Healthcare (now MeridianCare Health Services), a preventive medicine practice in Westchester County. He became certified in Medical Acupuncture in 1996.

Certified in Medical Acupuncture in 1996 and opened an Acupuncture Pain Management Clinic at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. Completed training in Chinese Herbal Medicine at the Institute for Chinese Herbology in Oakland ,California,and in Age Management Medicine at the Cenegenics Medical Institute in Las Vegas,Nevada. Certified as an instructor for Transformational Meditation and is an Ordained Buddhist Minister as well as a Reiki Master.Served as Academic Dean and Chief Medical Advisor at the New York College of Health Professions, one of the oldest and largest colleges for Complementary/Alternative Health and is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn .
