Providing individual, family and group therapy. The patients and clients that I have worked with were experiencing symtoms of severe Depression, Anxiety, Low Self Esteem, Relationship Difficulties, Domestic Violence, Substance Abuse, Sexual Abuse, and/or other Traumatic Life Events.
One of my areas of expertise is working with individuals who are experiencing Grief and Loss. I was employed as Social Worker on an Intensive Care Unit where I offered support to both critically ill patients and their families.
Life Experiences: In 1993 I lost my daughter when she passed away after a long illness. Before becoming a Social Worker, I was employed for five years as a Special Educaion Teaching Assistant. I have a disabled son who has Autism. I am also the mother of an adopted child.

There was a commercial, "Outstanding. AND, she is mild." Giving this outstanding recommendation then, because this therapist unlike many therapists with as much experience as Rosemary Guenther packs, is very, very nonthreatening, perceptive, has a sense of humor, and extensive background. Well worth a visit (or 9).
