I have worked for nearly 20 years in the mental health field providing services for children, adults and families. During my years as a Social Worker I have helped those who have suffered from many types of mental illness/traumas and focused on helping them to rebuild their lives and to see their inner strength and learn to love themselves for who they are, and not let what has happened to them define them or continue to take away from their lives. My work has been in adult mental health agencies as well as childrens psychiatic centers, I have also worked with those with developmental disabiities. Most of my time in these fields I have worked as a therapist.
