Having graduated with a degree in Linguistics and French I think it would be safe to say that I have always been fascinated by language and how it can be bent and shaped to do the job we want it to do at any given time. I am particularly interested in English with its many nuances and hidden pitfalls.

I am a former English teacher to students learning English as a foreign language. An experience which taught more about the English language than I ever thought possible!
I have also worked in Marketing, revising and creating marketing literature and websites for companies, ensuring the language used is as effective as possible and tailored to the clients' unique needs.
I currently work as a freelance proofreader and copy editor, assisting a wide variety of people from all business and educational arenas with their writing and language needs.
