My teaching experiences have allowed me to work with students and adults from a variety of backgrounds. Over the past 14 years as an educational instructor, mostly in Title 1 schools, I have consistently increased student achievement levels of a year or more annually. I have been a Literacy Coach and have received my reading endorsement and ESOL certification. I maintained a "Model Classroom" where other teachers, as well as future teachers, could witness research-based instruction and techniques as they were implemented in the classroom.
