I perform live and email tarot readings for those in need of answers to questions in their lives that traditional methods may not fully answer.
Since a very young age, I have been interested in the study and practice of alternative religions and belief systems, such as Wicca and the occult (occult only means "hidden," by the way!) I have not only had that interest, but felt a very strong connection with the Divine and Otherworldly forces which help us to see things that are beyond the scope of conventional view points. I feel that all beliefs are tied together at the center, that the Divine is a universal concept, regardless of the label given. This means that I respect ALL religions, as long as they are peaceful.
I have always been someone who can empathise with the emotions of others, and have always been able to give advice based on that empathy, combined with my strong intuitions. I have been doing so most of my life, and my advice is given with truth and love. I have been told that I am able to see and understand many things that most people cannot - even more closely than the family members or friends who are close to the individual I am advising - usually regardless of how long I have known them. Therefore my advice relationship is a very close and personal one with those whom I advise.
I began Tarot reading nearly four 6 years ago, during the time of my official initiation into the Craft. Although I was initiated much later in life than I would have liked, I feel that the "Craft" (for lack of a more detailed description) has always been a part of me, and therefore my actual and spiritual initiation was my own birth. I waited the traditional "year and a day" before taking on my dedicant vows to the Lord and Lady in thier service for life, since this is what is asked of those wishing to be newly dedicated.
The Tarot deck I currently use, created by D.J. Conway is known as the Celtic Dragon Tarot. I am of Irish descent and felt drawn to it, but also I like D.J Conway as an author because of her down-to-earth approach to all things spiritual. This down-to-earth attitude is present in the deck, its symbolism and interpretations. Although I had never previously worked with Dragons, I do believe they can be benevolent, and as a symbol are often misunderstood because of their fiery and powerful nature. I have found this deck to be the most powerful and accurate of all that I have worked with thus far, and I have worked with many.
I also most commonly use the Celtic Cross format for readings, because it seems to yeild the most accurate and throurough readings. It does not give yes or no answers or detailed timelines, however it does give answers such as the foundations and underlying reasons attributing to the current situation, peers into the recent and distant past, as well as giving a good summary of the present and future influences and results. It also gives state of mind of the questioner, hopes and fears, as well as possible outcomes and precautions to take, if necessary. These things may not be overtly obvious to most people, but I am able to pull the interpretations together so that they make sense to you.
Tarot readings can be very exhausting and they are work for the tarot reader, therefore I must charge a fee. It is a service like any other. The sessions I give may be similar to a psychologist's - however my area of study is within the spritiual - not just the scientific. I have studied psychology, philosophy and related subjects, which I incorporate into my advice as well, if the spiritual is not solid enough for you by itself. But to me the spirituality is the most important aspect of it all.
