What degree? I hit the road right out of high school and never looked back.

My Expert Service

HOW do I get a touring gig? SHOULD I pay someone to promote and shop my music? WHERE do I stay for a week in Nashville? DOES it make sense to rent a booth at CMA Music Fest? I don't get the Nashville Number System. HOW much does a tour bus cost? WHAT is "unsolicited material"? ARE there any great Sushi restaurants near music row? WHERE do I meet people who can help my career? HOW do I get booked at The Bluebird? WHEN do I really need a manager? SHOULD I sign a publishing deal without a draw? IS there a rock scene in Nashville? HOW do I find people to write with? Go ahead - no question is too stupid. Knowledge is defense against the forces that work against you in this complicated industry. You love it, but sometimes it hates you. Be aware. Be smart. Be cautious. Don't give up! I'm here to help..

Experience & Qualifications

As a touring and recording keyboard player, I've been fortunate enough to have earned a living over the past 20+ years doing exactly what I set out to do - travel, play music, entertain people, and ENJOY my career. I landed in Nashville in 1995 with the band Sons Of The Desert as we signed our first record deal with Sony/Epic. Sons did well right out of the box with our first single "Whatever Comes First" breaking into the coveted top ten singles charts. After years of touring, several top 20 singles & videos, and a move to MCA Records, the band's presence in the country music industry had given me the ability to land on my feet, and land running, when Sons finally disbanded around 2002. A new career phase began immediately for me as I hit the road playing and tour managing for Amy Dalley as she launched her first tour opening for Toby Keith and Rascal Flatts. Since then, my client list has expanded to include Phil Vassar, Bucky Covington, The Temptations (really!), Rascal Flatts, Gretchen Wilson, Capital Records, Deana Carter, Radney Foster, Jamie O'Neal, among others. Over the past decade I've become more involved in the business side of entertainment. Since 2000, my career path has widened into several aspects that make up the entire picture - fan club management, journalism & photo journalism, producing, arranging, travel coordination, merchandise sales & marketing, & radio promotion.
