After gaining my Bachelors (honours) in Pharmacology and Physiology (double degree), I was asked to study a masters degree in neurophysiology.
My background in Karate starts from 1991, when I started training in Okinawan Goju Ryu, but due to moving to another country, I started studying a Philippine form of karate based on Shotokan, while also cross-training with weapons (bo staff, arnis), and ninjutsu and judo.
Although I am only certified as an instructor in Karate, I hold low level blackbelts in both ninjutsu and judo.
