I have been practicing with Family Matters for 9+ years. I work with couples on a variety of issues that affect marital satisfaction including life changes such as the birth of children and adolescence, and basic communication skills. I also have extensive experience with couples healing from infidelity in their relationship. I believe that healing comes through reconciling relationships. That first must happen within one's self through forgiveness and acceptance of who God created them to be. I have tremendous hope for all people to be able to reach this wholeness in their lives. I love my work because I feel called to it and have seen the successes in my own life and in the lives of others. I practice from a Christian perspective, but show love and respect to people of all backgrounds.

I have a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and extensive training in couples and family therapy. I am a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist and have over 2,000 hours of experience. I have received training in crisis situations, divorce mediation, reconciliation after divorce, and pre-marital counseling. I am a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. I can be seen on Knoxville, TN's local NBC affiliate, Channel 10, WBIR every 1st and 3rd Monday at 4pm as their "relationship expert."
