As The Dog Expert of Leashes and Lovers, Sheryl Matthys is a certified dog trainer with a psychology degree and master's in Radio/TV. Sheryl has doled out a combination of advice to thousands of dog lovers as well as tips and information regarding everything dog. She specializes in talking with dog lovers about how their dogs impact their human relationships - good or bad!

Her passion for homeless dogs and her rescued Greyhounds led Sheryl to create http://LeashesandLovers.com a dog lovers social community and resource for dog lovers everywhere to share their love of dogs and be a part of the mission to find all dogs loving homes.

In addition to her blog on Leashes and Lovers as The Dog Expert, Sheryl also blogs for the popular dog sites, Dogster and PawFun. She volunteers with her certified therapy dog, Shiraz and has been at the forefront of fundraising for various Animal Charities with Leashes and Lovers events and online social community.
