|
I began my professional musical career playing coffee houses and bars with an acoustic guitar duo. In the late 1970's I formed a bluegrass band in Madison WI called Stone Oak. The band recorded one "LP" and toured the midwest for 4 years. When Stone Oak dis-banded I moved to Boston MA to attend Berklee School of Music. There I studied theory, arranging and violin. In 1986 I returned to Madison, played fiddle in a country band called Horsefeathers while I was planning an acoustic string jazz band. By 1987 Harmonious wail was born and since then I have been recording managing and touring with The Wail. We have seven CD's and have toured Europe, Taiwan, and the US.
