Experience & Qualifications

I began my spiritual journey studying yoga and zen meditation in 1976 at age 13. I went on to study comparative religion and obtained degrees in Philosophy and Jungian Psychology. I have studied with spiritual masters including Ram Dass and the Dalai Lama, among others. I am a Sister in the Community of Francis and Clare, a nondenominational third order founded by Fr. Scott Baldwin at All Saints Episcopal Church in San Francisco, California. As a pastoral counselor I have over 25 years experience guiding people in their spiritual practices and helping integrate spirituality into daily life. I have assisted with adult catechesis and provided premarital/couples counseling and grief counseling. I teach meditation and advanced prayer techniques including centering/ breath prayer and whole-body prayer as a practical means to realize one's spiritual ideals.
