I am a a senior student in Chemical Engineering(major) and Computer Science and Engg(minor). I like algorithms (analysing, modifying and developing algorithms like Tree Algorthms, etc ) and programming in VC++, Matlab, VB, Femlab. I also have an interest in economics and like to study the stock market. I am a chemical engineer and love challenges in Chemical Engineering too (design, optimization, or revamp problems)

Experience & Qualifications

Interned at a joint group project of University of Michigan and Schlumberger and Shell in Summer 2005. Worked on a software called the Michigan Wax Predictor which helps to estimate the deposition in wax thickness in the subsea level crude oil pipeline with time. This is a billion dollar problem for the oil industry, and the algorithm intensive code that was written would help the oil industry a lot to take the correct amount of preventive measure to stop the wax deposition.
Worked for SAVNetworks (http://www.savnetworks.com/), a company that provides solutions in networking technology. Worked in writing code for optimization of optical fiber networks.
