I am a seasoned special education advocate and parent. I have over ten years experience assisting parents of children with special needs to acquire the supports and services they need under IDEA and State regulations. I am also a parent of son with ASD and acquired experience through numerous trainings and personal experiences. Experience & Qualifications

Over 10 years experience advocating for children and adults with special needs, especially in the Autism Spectrum (PDD-NOS, Autism, Asperger Syndrome) Sensory Integrative disorder, and other developmental disabilities.
Received training in Special Education advocacy through UB Law School as parent advocate. Graduate of NYS Partners in Policymaking in 2002; received training in Autism through SUNY- Albany and numerous conferences throughout the past ten years. Advocated in over 14 school districts throughout WNY and nationally. Have son diagnosed with AS and have been advocating for him since 1999. I have an excellent understanding of IDEA and state regulations, particularly in NY but have access to information to help others througout the country.
