I am a National Board Certified (2006) Exceptional Needs Specialist who, for 34 years has, and continues to, plan and successfully implement academic, social, and behavioral modification programs for special needs(and regular education) students, ages 4 to 16. I am complusive about keeping current with educational trends, best practices, and research in my field. My current caseload includes students with autism, tramatic brain injury, intellectual delays, and severe learning disabilies.

Experience & Qualifications

Special Needs teacher for 34 years; 8 years at the elementary level (currently) and 26 years at the middle school level. My classes have been self-contained-where I provide academics, as well as social training and behavioral modification and management programs for my students. I received my National Board certification as an Exceptional Needs Specialist in 2006.
