I am a mom to three kids. My daughter has ataxic cerebral palsy and one of my sons has eosinophilic esophagitis, severe asthma, and autism. My son is allergic to most of the common food allergens. Because of his food allergies, I have experience cooking and baking allergen free. I can also give advice on how to go about finding proper treatment if you suspect your child may have an eosinophilic disorder along with help with proper asthma management. Above all, I can help you with making your special child’s life as normal as possible. I have experience dealing with school districts and local early intervention programs. I can help you with IEP’s; IFSP's, 504 plans, working with doctors, and advocacy for your child. I can review your child’s IEPs, 504 plans, and IFSPs that you currently have in place and give recommendations. I am also willing to “sit in” on these meetings over the phone. I can give you advice and pointers on battling health insurance companies, help you with applying for Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and help with navigating Medicaid disability waivers. Above all else, my goal is to help you become the best advocate possible for your child.
