My Expert Service

I am a New York State licensed Speech/Language Pathologist with over 15 years of experience in multiple settings with a variety of populations including preschools, private practice, and hospitals. My main area of expertise is with the school-aged population (5 years to 11 years) in a public school setting. My students are placed in a variety of educational programs, including speech improvement, related services, resource room, inclusion, and self-contained settings. My clinical expertise is in all areas of school-based communication disorders, including speech impairment, apraxia, language processing and production delays, learning disabilities, social skills deficits, autism spectrum disorders, and Aspergers’ Syndrome. I work both with children who are in the general education population, as well as those who are classified and have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). I am also a member of the Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) and the Committee on Special Education (CSE). I have extensive experience with performing evaluations and crafting Individualized Education Plans (IEP). In addition, I am an integral member of a building-level Instructional Support Team (IST) that works with teachers to enhance the learning experience of all students.
