My Expert Service
|
|
I am an orthopaedic surgeon who has trained at various prestigious Universities including Miami and Stanford. While in Miami, I learned complex trauma fixation, AO technique, Ilizarov system, and saw patients at the Project to Cure Paralysis. I also have specialized training in Sports Medicine and have served as a Team doctor for NFL, USA rugby, collegiate and high school teams. In addition I scored in the top 10% on all 3 USMLE medical board exams, making me also qualified to answer general medical questions. Currently, my interests lie in sports and sport injuries, arthritis prevention and treatment including joint replacements and resurfacing, fractures and trauma, sports supplements, nutrition and fitness. I enjoy jiu-jitsu, surfing, biking, playing with my golden retrievers Jackson and Dover, and physical fitness. I recently have adopted the crossfit strategy for overall fitness and have been quite pleased with the results. Furthermore, I have begun researching various anti-aging regimens and trying to adopt some of the philosophy into helping my patients function at higher levels and improve their overall health.
