My Expert Service
I have been a physical therapist in an outpatient setting since June of 2003. Most of my focus is orthopedic-related, although our clinic does also see neurological cases dealing with stroke and brain-injury. I have also been active in providing sport-specific conditioning classes to the community and area schools especially for basketball and golf. In 2006, I received certification through the NASM as a Performance Enhancement Specialist. Other continuing education course topics that I have studied include lumbar (low back) dysfunction, and shoulder and knee problems.

Experience & Qualifications
Fresh out of school, I was lucky enough to be mentored by a therapist who had been practicing for several years and had tremendous experience in many areas of physical therapy. Those first several months of my career, I was really able to apply what I had learned in school to make sense of everything. That clinic took an exercise-based approach to physical therapy. Since then, I have also worked in another clinic that focused more on manual therapy. With exposure to both approaches to physical therapy, I feel I have been able to take from both philosophies, to really broaden my expertise. I have also worked a lot with athletes of all sports both as part of the rehabilitation process as well as part of injury prevention and sport conditioning
