I can help! I have a diverse background in both elementary and special education in multiple states and have been an advocate for all of my students and their parents, all of the time. My current position is the Instructional Specialist for my school. In this position, I work as an internal consultant and trainer for our teachers in the areas of instruction and curriculum, manage the budget for curriculum materials, work closely with district and state testing coordination, and work as part of the school’s leadership team.
Areas of expertise are special education process, finding information for parents, supporting teachers in the classroom (both SpEd and Regular Classroom), lesson planning and implementation, differentiated instruction, classroom management, behavior plans, intervention, child discipline for parents, helping parents help their students at home.
