Experience & Qualifications

I have an MS in Statistical Genetics and diverse professional experience working both as a professional statistician and a professional SAS programmer in both the pharmaceutical and financial industries.
In addition, I have also taught at the university level and assisted with the statistical design and interpretation of data for several undergraduate research projects, masters theses and dissertations from a broad range of areas in biology (including microbiology, physiology, genetics, functional anatomy, animal behavior, applied and theoretical ecology and evolution), as well as anthropology, psychology and primate behavior.
With my diverse experience and training, I am well suited to provide expert consultation and programming support for both academics and industry alike and am particularly well suited for *thinking outside of the box*, since I am often able to find new and exciting solutions by drawing upon well established techniques from one discipline in order to solve difficult problems in another discipline where such techniques have not yet become commonly employed.
