Problematic anger is often a habit or a learned behavior based on our beliefs about others and they way they should treat us. Anger is often instantaneous and occurs before we stop and think. I will help you explore that lead to your angry interactions with others. I will also give you new tools so that you will have other options that will often be even more effective for you than anger.

I worked my way through graduate school as front line employee in the Nebraska Department of Corrections. As you can imagine this gave my a lot of practical experience in dealing with angry people. This culminated in one year as a Therapist in the Mental Health Department where I did therapy with criminal offenders. Since then the remainder my years of experience has included working in private practice with a wide variety of clients. These still include criminal and juvenile offenders, addicts, alcoholics, domestic abusers, and others who have anger issues.
