My poetry is a melodic blend of the 50 or so poets that I have studied throughout my academic and free time. As is stated alongside my screen name, my poetry is saturated in raw feeling & emotion. I've been told by many that it is romantically jarring. I write about relationships and I do so in a painfully honest fashion. I have survived the jungle of courtship and have been through seemingly every type of relationship that exists and that has done miracles for my writing versatility. I love to write period. My poems are not hokey or cutsie, they are generally free verse and are always highly artistic and smart (as I have been a scholar of language for years now)...which is where I have found my unique flavor.
I'm also very familiar with the academic works of many famous poets. I'm mostly an expert on Latin American poetry as I have taken a series of classes pertaining to it. I am extremely familiar with prose, traditional and political poetry. I have written works in both languages and I have done so at times with intent to mock the style of others, though I prefer to write in my own.

Experience & Qualifications

I have immersed myself in the Spanish language for 9 years now. Having lived in Mexico and studied at Ohio University under some very effective and intelligent professors, my Spanish abilities are limited to nothing. I listed my other two bachelors just to show how well-rounded I am. I am not all about one thing, but it is my balance in life that makes my work whole and Renaissance-like. I have a deep passion for older literature as I have studied that too for years now. I use this alongside my education and personal time investments with the English & Spanish languages to create work that is as complete as I feel that I am a person. I have now written two books of poetry and one book on being a well-rounded and whole man titled "The Romeo Theories". I am probably the happiest person I know and my life is where it needs to be and that has helped my works grow immensely. I will share anything you might wish if you would like to work with a young artistically evolved mind like mine.
